Introduction edit

JWSchmidt did the Good Yeoman Service of starting the development of Thought 5501.01:Cognition, for which Dionysios of the Wikiversity Institute for Thought was most grateful.

When Dionysios expressed his gratitude, JWSchmidt responded that he was not sure how Dionysios wanted to develop Thought 5501.01, and Dionysios replied that he "had no particular plan or desire as to how Thought 5501.01 or any other Wiki endeavor should develop, but rather, he is pleased to see an organic growth as the Wikisphere does that which it does."

This brought back to the fevered imagination of Dionysios: the Topic of Wikiendeavor, a constant concern of his. Hence, seeking to replace the "Wiki endeavor" Link in his reply to Schmidt with a New Page, this Page is the result.

Combining the "Wiki Page" with the "Category:Resources Page" served as the springboard from was able move forward with the Topic of Wikiendeavor.

As is generally the case with Dionysios, a learning project of this type involves an (eventual) complete rewrite of existing text in a new context.

A wiki is a type of website that allows users to easily add, remove, or otherwise edit and change the content of the webpages. The openness and ease of editing page content makes a wiki an effective tool for collaborative authoring.

Wikiversity has adopted the "learning by doing" model for education. Lessons should center on learning activities for Wikiversity participants. Learning materials can be used by multiple departments. Cooperate with other departments that use the same learning resource.
