@U3200844: I am looking forward to reading your completed chapter!
I am particularly interested in differences in communication styles between males and females. As I am in a heterosexual relationship, I have always been interested in how and why females commonly approach conversations differently to males in regard to sexual motivation. If you are interested too, I think delving into that would be really interesting!

The topic development submission has been reviewed according to the marking criteria. Written feedback is below, plus see the general feedback page. Please also check the page history for changes made whilst reviewing the chapter plan. Responses to this feedback can be made by starting a new section below and/or contacting the reviewer. Marks are available via UCLearn. Marks are based on the latest version before the due date.
Excellent – key points are well developed for each section, with relevant citations
Avoid providing too much background information (relates to the Intruction section). Aim to briefly summarise general concepts and provide internal links to relevant book chapters and/or Wikipedia pages for further information. Then focus most of the content on directly answering the core question(s) posed by the chapter sub-title.
Consider linking to your eportfolio page and/or any other professional online profile or resume such as LinkedIn. This is not required, but it can be useful to interlink your professional networks.
Rename the book chapter link to make it more user-friendly (see Tutorial 02)
Good – two out of three types of contributions made with with some direct and some indirect link(s) to evidence. The other type of contribution is making:
To add direct links to evidence: view the page history, select the version of the page before and after your contributions, click "compare selected revisions", and paste the comparison URL on your user page. For more info, see Making and summarising social contributions.

hey, your book chapter is coming along very well. I think you have done a great job on developing clear focus on gender differences. it would be interesting to see more sociocultural influences such as the impact of societal norms, cultural expectations, and changing gender roles in society. I also really enjoyed the integration of the evolutionary perspective. great work :) U3236683 (discuss • contribs) 20:43, 3 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello there,
I was looking at your book chapter thus far and it seems to be coming along very well. I just wanted to remind you that within your references the journal article and the volume number need to be in italics. I don't want to you get penalised for it :) TEGIANN (discuss • contribs) 10:22, 6 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

A brief written description of the presentation is provided. Expand.

Overall, this is an excellent chapter. It successfully uses psychological theory and research to address a practical, real-world phenomenon or problem.
Very good use of academic, peer-reviewed citations to support claims
In some places, better use could be made of academic, peer-reviewed citations (e.g., see the [factual?] tags)
For additional feedback, see the following comments and these copyedits
Each Figure is referred to at least once within the main text. Refer to each Figure using APA style (e.g., "(see Figure 1)"; do not use bold, italics, check and correct capitalisation).
Excellent use of embedded in-text interwiki links to Wikipedia articles
No use of embedded in-text links to related book chapters. Embedding in-text links to related book chapters helps to integrate this chapter into the broader book project.
Excellent use of figure(s)
Excellent use of table(s)
Excellent use of feature box(es)
Excellent use of scenarios, case studies, or examples
Basic use of quiz(zes) and/or reflection question(s)
The quiz questions could be improved by being more focused on the key points and/or take-home messages
The quiz questions could be more effective as learning prompts by being embedded as single questions within each corresponding section rather than as a set of questions at the end
Excellent use of interwiki links in the "See also" section
Very good use of external links in the "External links" section
