Apply to be an associate editor

As per the journal bylaws, an editorial board member or associate editor is elected after a majority vote, counting after 7 days of voting, by the following electorate:

  • Current editorial board members.
  • Peer reviewers who have completed at least one peer review of WikiJournal of Medicine.
  • Editors with at least 30 edits to WikiJournal of Medicine pages.
  • Not an individual voting for herself/himself.

After fulfillment of the above, any current editorial board member can execute the acceptance, by copy-pasting {{subst:WikiJournal accepted board member}} or {{subst:WikiJournal accepted associate editor}} underneath the votes.

  2. __ Confirm email address
  3. __ Copy their information over to editorial board page using the {{WikiJournal editor summary}} template
  4. __ Direct-add them to the WJMboard mailing list (via this link) which will grant them access to the private page only visible to board members
  5. __ Welcome them at the WJMboard mailing list so that they are informed

Finally, move the application to this year's archive page (Suggested email template)
