These assessment comments were submitted on , and refer to this previous version of the article

This is a very well written and sourced piece of work. It is written in an understandable manner and is accurate to the best of my knowledge. My only comment would be that there could be a better description and cross referencing to the innate response when antigen presenting cells are discussed - that section is a bit light and could be clearer. I would like to see this article after author responses.

Editorial comment edit

The decision was taken not to continue with reviewing manuscript; the high level of similarity was to a range of sites and the relationship to the Wikipedia age on Immune System was bit clear. Efforts were made to seek clarification from the corresponding author, to no avail. Rwatson1955 (discusscontribs) 09:43, 19 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Dear Dr. Roger Watson,
I hope this comment reply finds you well. I am writing to inform you that I have recently changed institutions, which has resulted in a disruption in communication via the email address associated with this manuscript. Fortunately, I came across this page and would like to take this opportunity to address a few points.
I am one of the contributors to the Immune System Wikipedia page and subsequently developed a manuscript based on its content. Regarding the similarity results, I would like to note that the Immune System page is a featured article. As stated in the similarity results, "Be aware that other websites can copy from Wikipedia, so check the results carefully, especially for older or well-developed articles."
While all Wikimedia Foundation (WMF) pages have been excluded from the WMF copyvios, it appears that other websites have copied content from Wikipedia, resulting in their appearance within the top three results.
In light of this, I can prepare the new version of the Immune System manuscript that will be distinct from the existing Wikipedia page.
I kindly request your decision and guidance regarding this matter. Should you require further information or clarification, please do not hesitate to reach me at sarmoko@gmail.com.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. Helito (discusscontribs) 13:58, 27 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi
I think we corresponded on email about this last year - feel free to prepare a new version and let me know when that is done. 5.198.83.94 (discuss) 13:14, 18 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
