Overall edit

  1. Overall, this is a solid DI-level chapter. The chapter is well structured and delivers on what it set out to do. There could have been more explored about sexual motivation (or at least linking to related textbook chapters regarding specific points of relevance). However, the focus on considering predictors of adultery was excellent particularly as you used this to describe and discuss related research findings. The chapter was well written, with several useful additional learning features.

  1. Written expression
    1. The chapter could have benefited from developing clear focus questions. Getting comments on a chapter plan and/or chapter draft could have helped with this aspect.
  2. Learning features
    1. Excellent quiz and glossary
    2. Images were relevant, but they were not all captioned.
    3. More wiki-links could be added - see my editing for examples
  3. Spelling, grammar and proofreading
    1. Use Australian spelling e.g., hypothesize -> hypothesise
  4. APA style
    1. Do not cite the year for subsequent citations within a paragraph e.g., Smith (2010) but after that in the same paragraph only refer to Smith.
    2. When there are three or more authors, subsequent citations should use et al. e.g., Smith, Bush and Western (2001) and then in the next paragraph cite Smith et al. (2001).

  1. Overall, this was an effective and interesting narrated slide/bullet-point presentation, with well selected accompanying images.
  2. Audio was a bit quiet. Audio was clear (with the volume up), but sounded a little warped/out?
  3. Good intonation - you have an easy and interesting voice to follow.
  4. Use larger font.
  5. I liked the interactivity (e.g., suggesting hitting pause to think).
  6. I particularly liked the structuring around clear focus questions - well done.
  7. Ask a question, then "To put it simply, yes" was excellent, clear, down to earth communication.
  8. Well selected content (didn't try to cover everything, but rather to focus on well selected key points)
  9. Images attributions?
