Social contributions

Hello! This was such a fascinitating read, what an awesome chapter! When reading the relational agression section it reminded me of a concept taught in the forensic psychology unit about corporate psychopaths - as they are not outright physically agressive but can be very manipulative and domineering in the workplace. I will link a possible article here (https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s10551-015-2908-6) but I thought this could be am interesting concept for you to add as you finish off your chapter. Also I fixed some errors in your referencing. Good luck and love the good work :)

Overall Overall, this is an excellent chapter that successfully uses psychological theory and research to help address a practical, real-world phenomenon or problem. For additional feedback, see the following comments and these copyedits. Overview Well developed Overview. It is debatable whether psychopathy is a disorder per se (have removed that part). A dramatic example is good to gain reader attention (e.g., Ted Bundy), but remember that far more common is everyday garden variety psychopathy. Clear focus question(s). Theory — Breadth Relevant theories are well selected, described, and explained. The chapter doesn't wander off into discussion of irrelevant theory. Theory — Depth Appropriate depth is provided about the selected theory(ies). Some of the theoretical discussion is quite dense. Key citations are well used. Tables and/or lists are used effectively to help clearly convey key theoretical information. Some useful examples are provided to illustrate theoretical concepts. More micro-examples could be useful to illustrate key concepts. Research — Key findings Relevant research is well reviewed. Research — Critical thinking Very good critical thinking about research is evident. Integration Discussion of theory and research is well integrated. Conclusion Well developed summary. Add practical, take-home messages. Written expression — Style Written expression Overall, the quality of written expression is very good. Avoid directional referencing (e.g., "As previously mentioned"). Instead: it is, most often, not needed at all, or use section linking. Layout The chapter is well structured, with major sections using sub-sections. Grammar The grammar for some sentences could be improved (e.g., see the tags). Grammar-checking tools are available in most internet browsers and word processing software packages. Another option is to share draft work with peers and ask for their assistance. APA style Direct quotes need page numbers - even better, write in your own words. Do not capitalise the names of disorders, therapies, theories, etc. (e.g., Dark Triad -> dark triad). Use double (not single) quotation marks "to introduce a word or phrase used as an ironic comment, as slang, or as an invented or coined expression; use quotation marks only for the first occurrence of the word or phrase, not for subsequent occurrences" (APA 7th ed., 2020, p. 159). Figures and tables Refer to each Table and Figure at least once within the main text (e.g., see Figure 1). Provide more detailed Figure captions to help connect the figure to the text. Citations use correct APA style. References are not in full APA style. For example: Check and correct use of capitalisation[1] Page numbers should be separated by an en-dash (–) rather than a hyphen (-) Written expression — Learning features Overall, the use of learning features is very good. Overall Overall, this is a very good presentation. Overview An opening slide with the title and sub-title is presented and narrated - this helps to clearly convey the purpose of the presentation. A context for the topic is established. Focus questions are presented. Content Comments about the book chapter may also apply to this section. The presentation addresses the topic. An appropriate amount of content is presented - not too much or too little. The presentation is well structured. The presentation makes excellent use of relevant psychological theory. The presentation makes good use of relevant psychological research (more citations would help). Coverage of tests was interesting, but perhaps instead a closer review of research findings could strengthen the presentation. The presentation could be improved by making more use of examples or case studies. Conclusion A Conclusion slide is presented with some solid take-home message(s). Audio The audio is interesting to listen to. Audio communication is clear. Consider slowing down, take a breath, and leave longer pauses between sentences. This can help the viewer to cognitively digest the information that has just been presented before moving on to the next point. Audio recording quality was very good. Video Overall, visual display quality is very good. The presentation makes basic use of animated slides. The font size is sufficiently large to make it easy to read. The amount of text presented per slide makes it easy to read and listen at the same time. The visual communication is supplemented by images and/or diagrams. The presentation is well produced. Meta-data The chapter title and sub-title (check capitalisation) are used in the name of the presentation - this helps to clearly convey the purpose of the presentation. A brief written description of the presentation is provided. Consider expanding. A link to the book chapter is provided. A link to the book chapter is provided but it goes to a specific section rather than the top of the chapter. Licensing Image sources and their copyright status are not provided.
