Overall, this is a promising chapter that does a reasonably good job of applying psychological theory and research to a real-world problem.
The main area for improvement is that many claims are unreferenced (e.g., see the [factual?] tags), so the chapter demonstrates insufficient linkage to the best available peer-reviewed academic literature about the topic, especially for 3rd year undergraduate psychology.

Relevant theory is reasonably well explained. Sorrow is considered from several perspectives. A critical perspective is evident.
There are some contradictory descriptions of the relationship between sorrow and sadness. For example, sorrow is described as not as severe as sadness, but then also as more than sadness.
Overall, this chapter provides a basic overview of relevant research.
When describing important research findings, consider including a bit more detail about the methodology and indicating the size of effects in addition to whether or not there was an effect or relationship.
Greater emphasis on major reviews and/or meta-analyses would be helpful.
Overall, the quality of written expression is basic.
