Overly complex structure - consider simplifying e.g., the focus of the chapter should be on psychological science about equanimity, so religious/philosophical perspectives can be more briefly summarised with links provided to more info.

Overall, this is an excellent chapter that successfully uses psychological theory and research to help address a practical, real-world phenomenon or problem.
The main area for potential improvement is the quality of written expression. In particularly, the language can be simplified. Many sentences could be shortened without loss of meaning.

There is relatively little direct academic psychological research about this topic. This chapter does a remarkably good job of approaching this by incorporating related topics and offering a critical perspective.
Overall, the quality of written expression is good to very good, with potential to be excellent.
The main recommendation is to make the written expression crisper by reducing use of weasel words (e.g., "at this point", "common consensus" -> "consensus") which bulk out the text, but don't enhance meaning. For example, see the these copyedits made to the Conclusion. Nail this skill and you can be an excellent writer.

There is too much content, in too much detail, presented within the allocated time frame. Zoom out and provide a higher-level presentation at a slower pace. It is best to do a small amount well than a large amount poorly.
