FYI, the convention on Wikiversity is for lower-cased headings (or sentence casing). For example, use:

Hello, I found the following article on EBSCO which might interest you...

  2. Sections which include sub-sections should also include an overview paragraph (which doesn't need a separate heading) before branching into the sub-headings.
  3. Avoid providing too much background information. Instead, briefly summarise generic concepts and provide internal wiki links to further information. Then the focus of most of the content can be on directly answering the core question(s) posed by the chapter sub-title.

  1. Overall, this is a strong chapter that successfully uses psychological theory and research to help address a practical, real-world phenomenon or problem.
  2. The chapter could benefit from being streamlined to get closer to the 4,000 word target. For example, there are some very long paragraphs and too much background theory about emotion.

  1. Relevant theories are well selected, described, and explained.
  2. Reduce the amount of general theoretical material (e.g., about emotion). Instead, summarise and link to further information, to allow this chapter to focus on the specific topic (i.e., the sub-title question). This will get the chapter closer to the 4,000 word max. target.
  3. Perhaps consider connecting social support to self-determination theory / basic psychological needs (relatedness).
