Section headings edit

  1. Well developed 2-level heading structure, with meaningful headings that directly relate to the core topic.
  2. Sections which include sub-sections should also include an overview paragraph (which doesn't need a separate heading) before branching into the sub-headings.
  3. Avoid providing too much background information. Instead, briefly summarise generic concepts and provide internal wiki links to further information. Then the focus of most of the content can be on directly answering the core question(s) posed by the chapter sub-title.

  3. Include in-text interwiki links for the first mention of key terms to relevant Wikipedia articles and/or to other relevant book chapters.

  1. Overall, this is an excellent chapter that successfully uses psychological theory and research to help address a practical, real-world phenomenon or problem.
  2. The Overview barely mentions social media  .
  3. The Conclusion is excellent.

  2. The general theory about social comparison and about emotion coudl be abbreviated, with links to further information, to allow the bulk of the chapter to focus on the nexus between SC, social media, and emotion.

  1. Overall, this is an basic but effective presentation.

Structure and content edit

  1. Well selected content - not too much or too little.
  2. The presentation is well structured.
  3. The Overview slide (focus questions) is too fast.

Communication edit

  1. The presentation makes effective use of text and image based slides with narrated audio.
  2. The second slide is not displayed long enough to read and digest.
  3. Some of the font size should be larger to make it easier to read.
  4. Reasonably well paced.
  5. The visual communication is effectively supplemented by images.

Production quality edit

  1. The audio recording level and quality varies between slides.
  2. The chapter title but not the sub-title are used in the video title - the latter would help to clearly convey the purpose of the presentation.
