Hi, I am doing psychological flexibility and emotional health, and a big part of my research has been acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). I think researching this would be a good addition to your topic to do with emotion regulation.

Hey,
Great start to your chapter!
I'm working on Affect regulation theory (ART) and there are a few theories that would go well with emotion regulation such as regulation theory, emotion regulation theory and self-regulation theory.

Overall, this chapter does a reasonably good job of applying psychological theory and research to a real-world phenomenon, but it is undermined by the poor quality of written expression.
The chapter could benefit from further development of the Overview and Conclusion - it should be possible to only read these sections and get a good sense of why the topic is important and what is known/recommended.
Overall, this chapter provides a good overview of relevant research.
When describing important research findings, consider including a bit more detail about the methodology and indicate the size of effects in addition to whether or not there was an effect or relationship.
Greater emphasis on major reviews and/or meta-analyses would be helpful.
Some claims are unreferenced (e.g., see the [factual?] tags).
Overall, the quality of written expression is poor.
The chapter would benefit from a more developed Overview and Conclusion, with clearer focus question(s) (Overview) and take-home self-help message for each focus question (Conclusion).
Layout
Sections which include sub-sections should also include an introductory paragraph (which doesn't need a separate heading) before branching into the sub-headings.
Very basic use of interwiki links to Wikipedia articles. Adding more interwiki links for the first mention of key words and technical concepts would make the text more interactive.
No use of embedded links to related book chapters. Embedding links links to related book chapters helps to integrate this chapter into the broader book project.
Basic use of images.
Good use of tables.
Good use of feature boxes.
Basic use of quizzes.
The quiz questions could be more effective as learning prompts by being embedded as single questions within each corresponding section rather than being presented as a set of questions at the end.
Consider including case studies or examples.
Grammar
The grammar for many sentences could be improved (e.g., see the [grammar?] tags).
APA style
Figures and tables
Refer to each Table and Figure at least once within the main text (e.g., see Figure 1).
Citations are not in full APA style. For example:
Use ampersand (&) inside brackets and "and" outside brackets.
A serial comma is needed before "&" or "and" for citations involving three or more authors.
