Hi! I liked how consistently informative your book chapter has been throughout each section. Specifically, I enjoyed how you provided a few tables and pictures to demonstrate your topic. For improvement, you may like to add more links in your "see also" and "external links". Other than that, your topic sounds really interesting, and I wish you luck with the progress of your book chapter!

Well developed 3-level heading structure, with meaningful headings that directly relate to the core topic.
Sections which include sub-sections should also include an overview paragraph (which doesn't need a separate heading) before branching into the sub-headings.

This is a great chapter and it does a great job at explaining some heavy topics. I added some links on a couple of words or concepts that I felt could use some further explanation on. --Haylzw (discuss • contribs) 03:49, 19 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

Overall, this is a promising chapter that makes the fatal mistake of not sufficiently addressing the topic.
Excellent Overview.
It is unclear why the chapter narrows in on MDMA. Such a focus is not specified in the title or sub-title. MDMA effects on empathy could be used as part of the chapter, but the chapter focus should be broader, on empathogens and empathy.
For additional feedback, see comments below and these copyedits.
Many claims are unreferenced (e.g., see the [factual?] tags).
Similar comments about the focus are relevant here; good coverage of MDMA as an empathogen, but insufficient coverage about other empathogens.
When describing important research findings, consider including a bit more detail about the methodology and indicate the size of effects in addition to whether or not there was an effect or relationship.
Greater emphasis on major reviews and/or meta-analyses would be helpful.
Sections which include sub-sections should also include an introductory paragraph (which doesn't need a separate heading) before branching into the sub-headings.
Learning features
Very good use of interwiki links to Wikipedia articles. Adding interwiki links for the first mention of key words and technical concepts would make the text more interactive.
No use of embedded links to related book chapters. Embedding interwiki links links to related book chapters helps to integrate this chapter into the broader book project.
Basic use of images.
Basic use of tables.
Basic use of feature boxes. Increase width.
Good use of quizzes.
Basic use of case studies or examples. Perhaps consider using one case study per empathogen discussed.
