Overall Overall, this chapter provides a basic overview of hardiness. For additional feedback, see these copyedits. Theory Provide an Overview. This chapter does not clearly distinguish hardiness from resilience, grit etc. This chapter seems to struggle with whether hardiness is relatively stable (e.g., a personality trait) or whether it is malleable (e.g., through training/intervention). Several theories are described. Research Several relevant research studies are described. When describing important research findings, indicate the size of effects in addition to whether or not there was an effect or relationship. Greater emphasis on major reviews and meta-analyses would be helpful. Some statements were unreferenced - see the tags Written expression Written expression Review overuse of "seen" - remove because its unnecessary verbiage. Avoid one sentence paragraphs. A paragraph should typically consist of three to five sentences. Layout Sections which include sub-sections should also include an introductory paragraph (which doesn't need a separate heading) before branching into the sub-headings. Avoid having sections with only one sub-sections. See earlier comments about heading casing Learning features Adding interwiki links would make the text more interactive. Use Australian spelling - e.g., hypothesize -> hypothesise Limited use of images. No use of tables. Basic use of quizzes. No case studies. No external links. Spelling, grammar, and proofreading More proofreading is needed to fix typos, punctuation etc. in order to bring the quality of written expression closer to a professional standard. Check and correct use of ownership apostrophes e.g., individuals -> individual's Spelling can be improved - e.g., see the tags. The grammar for some sentences could be improved - e.g., see the tags. Check and correct use of that vs. who APA style Direct quotes need page numbers. Use APA style for Figure captions Provide more detailed Figure captions that connect the figure to the book chapter topic Numbers under 10 should be written in words (e.g., five); numbers 10 and over should be written in numbers (e.g., 10) Citations Use APA style e.g., Maddi et al., (2006) -> Maddi et al. (2006) Use ampersand (&) inside brackets and "and" outside brackets. A comma is needed before "&" for citations involving three or more authors In-text citations should be in alphabetical order References are not in full APA style e.g., Check and correct page numbering Check and correct italicisation See new doi format Do not include issue numbers for journals which are continuously numbered within volumes.

Overall Overall, this is a basic, but sufficient presentation. Structure and content Example was helpful, but took too long, which didn't leave enough time to adequately cover theory, research, and take-home messages. Add and narrate an Overview slide, to help orientate the viewer about what will be covered. The presentation could be strengthened by adding a Conclusion slide with practical, take-home messages. Communication The presentation is fun, and interesting to watch and listen to, with clear visuals and narration. Production quality A link has now been added from the book chapter to the multimedia presentation. A link also needs to be added from the presentation to the book chapter. Audio recording quality was a bit quiet and include background noise such as keyboard strokes - review microphone set up (maybe an onboard microphone was used rather than a headset microphone). Use the full chapter title and sub-title in the name of the video because this helps to match the book chapter and to clearly convey the purpose of the presentation. Video recording quality was excellent. Audio recording quality was poor to mediocre.
