Portal facelift?
editThis portal is sadly out of date, just wondering if/how edits should proceed to bring it up to date. I'd love to see more high schoolers using Wikiversity as I think it would be a very useful tool for them, especially homeschooled ones. I'd be willing to pitch in a lot of work here as long as it's okay. Community input? Trinity507 03:55, 10 September 2009 (UTC)
- I obviously don't expect you to reply because your comment was made 12 years ago, but if anyone is still editing around here these days I was wondering if there was a community in existence to work towards "facelifting" portions of these Wikipedia side projects. Mainly because I do believe that these are lovely ideas, especially as junior in high school myself. If anyone is still out there, please reach out to me if there's any interest in a discord server of sorts. GreenTeaForPreT (discuss • contribs) 15:59, 9 November 2021 (UTC)
- @GreenTeaForPreT: Yes, there is a community. Very small at the moment, but here. Many portals should probably just be deleted. Others are worth preserving and improving. The Secondary Education portal averages 11 page views a day. That is certainly worth preserving and improving. Regarding Discord, see meta:Discord. We could have a Wikiversity server if you think it is something that would be used regularly. The best place for this discussion would be the Wikiversity:Colloquium. -- Dave Braunschweig (discuss • contribs) 02:35, 10 November 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you so much for replying, I feel like a Wikiversity server would be useful, but it would take a lot of people. I'm on the wikimedia server. I appreciate you directing me to the colloquium though. GreenTeaForPreT (discuss • contribs) 15:16, 10 November 2021 (UTC)
