Introduction to this lesson

Learn by examples

Look at real examples

In this lesson, we look at real examples from Hollywood. To do this, you need the disks from the Star Movie Shop. Currently, it takes up to 4 weeks to send disks to Africa, 12 days to Egypt, etc, so let me know your maling address.

Take the exams

Once you are finished looking the disks, you take an exam. Each disk has a separate introduction page and a separate exam page.
Disks from Star Movie Shop
You need disks

To do this lesson, you need to get the disks from the Star Movie Shop. The good news is you can get these disk for free if you have been a good student.

Film Editing Disks

These are the same disks used for the motion picture editing course at Wikiversity Film School. Therefore, by completing this lesson, you will be ready to take the film editing course.

Designed for the Macintosh

All of these disks are designed for the Macintosh computer. Fortunately, all of the disks are cross-platform disks. If you have trouble accessing any of the pieces of these disks, find someone with a Macintosh computer and ask them to convert them to whatever format your programs need.

Use your points to get the disks.
Get the disks for free

You can use your points to get these disks. (Unfortunately, these disks are not available in all locations.)

To get the disk, email me and tell me what you are ready for this lesson. Click here and tell me that you have enough points.

Note:This offer is only for students who have already completed the first part of the filmmaking course.
