Wikiversity:Wikiversity participants who choose to leave
Despite our best efforts users can always choose to leave Wikiversity. Some of them provide feedback why they left. Participants of this learning project wish to better understand what are the motives that make editors leave Wikiversity, whether they leave in anger or in peace, among other aspects of the phenomenon. Can we motivate some of them again to come back ?
Let's collect from all Wikiversities such cases.

- Leigh Blackall was active in Wikiversity for a while, before moving to Wikieducator as his educational wiki of preference (and not exactly leaving, per se). He left a note about this in a thread on the Colloquium about the relationship between the two projects. (However, some context of the "flack" was in private email between himself, myself and User:WiseWoman.) Cormaggio talk 17:04, 24 August 2008 (UTC)
- Group discussion (April 2007): Copyleft Part I (39m:59s) and Copyleft Part II (52m:49s) from a conference call that included User:Historybuff, User:CQ, User:Chrismo and User:Leighblackall. Most of the discussion is Chris and Leigh discussing reasons why some people do not want to release materials under licenses like the GFDL coyyleft license. Also some discussion of Wikiversity and Leigh's Wikiversity experience.
