editHi there. I am doing a book chapter on the reward system, motivation, and emotion. This may benefit your area on the brain mechanisms involved in wanting and liking as they are both relate to the reward system. Wanting and liking are two parts of the pleasure cycle (the third being learning), this is discussed in chapter 3 of the Reeve textbook, and also explained in this journal article. Would it be worth including a section on needing and the ideas of the feeling of needing when in fact one just feels want or like? - U3216502
