Overall Overall, this is a reasonably good, but somewhat basic, chapter. This chapter is well under the maximum word count. For additional feedback, see comments below and these copyedits. Theory Very basic coverage of theory is provided. Research Very basic coverage of research is provided. When describing important research findings, consider including a bit more detail about the methodology and indicate the size of effects in addition to whether or not there was an effect or relationship. Greater emphasis on major reviews and meta-analyses would be helpful. Written expression Written expression Written expression is reasonably good, but is somewhat awkward in places. Direct quotes should be embedded within sentences and paragraphs, rather than dumped holus-bolus. Even better, communicate the concept in your own words. The chapter benefited from a well developed Overview and Conclusion, with clear focus question(s) and take-home messages. Layout The chapter is well structured, with major sections using sub-sections. Sections which include sub-sections should also include an introductory paragraph (which doesn't need a separate heading) before branching into the sub-headings. Learning features Adding interwiki links for the first mention of key words would make the text more interactive. Embedding interwiki links links to other book chapters would help to integrate this chapter into the broader book project. Use in-text interwiki links, rather than external links. Good use of images. Good use of quizzes. Q2: Changed from single-response to multiple-response Good use of case studies and feature boxes. Grammar The grammar for some sentences could be improved (e.g., see the tags). Use serial commas[1] - it is part of APA style. Check and correct use of that vs. who. APA style Refer to each Table and each Figure at least once within the main text. Citations are not in full APA style. For example: When there are three or more authors, subsequent citations should use et al. e.g., Smith, Bush and Western (2001) and thereafter cite Smith et al. Overall Overall, this is a basic presentation. This presentation makes use of powtoon animation tools. Structure and content The theory content is quite general. Limited coverage of theory. More examples would be helpful. The presentation is well organised. Add and narrate an Overview slide (e.g., with focus questions), to help orientate the viewer about what will be covered. What are the practical take-home message(s) that we can use to help improve our everyday lives? Communication The presentation makes use of text and animated image based slides with narrated audio. Well paced. The narration voice is quite quiet. The font size is sufficiently large to make it easy to read. The visual communication is supplemented by images. Production quality The chapter title but not the sub-title are used in the video title - the latter would help to clearly convey the purpose of the presentation. The chapter title and sub-title are used on the opening slide - this helps to clearly convey the purpose of the presentation. Audio recording quality was quiet (needed volume up a fair way). Visual display quality was good. Mute the music during narration to help the viewer concentrate on the combination of visual information and narrated audio.
