Fantastic work! Really interesting topic. I thought that maybe inserting some quotes from people, perhaps somebody who was seeking the death penalty or who has a strong opinion on death penalty, could be inserted into your page as a little extra something? Reading your topic development so far was really interesting especially the public opinion of the death penalty. Not as severe as the death penalty, our text book explains that corporal punishments gain immediate compliance but come with multiple negative consequences. Reeve page 106 has some interesting facts about punishers, you may like to read for interest/ or add. This is a really well-done topic. Firstly I would suggest maybe including under see also the link to the Wikipedia page on the death penalty as it provides some areas that may have not been in this topic due to relevancy. I also found it interesting that there is such a disparity in the use of the death penalty in the USA, I was curious however is public opinion reflective of this use and what would be the reason behind that i.e as white people are more in support of the death penalty is the higher death penalty rate in the South due to a higher white population in those areas. --Haylzw (discuss • contribs) 09:38, 19 October 2019 (UTC)

I wonder whether they are emotional motivators for supporting (e.g., fear, revenge, schadenfreude) and opposing (e.g., empathy, compassion) the DP. Did you directly consult Maslow (1943)? If not, this should be a secondary citation. Research Relevant research is well reviewed and discussed in relation to theory. Written expression Written expression Overall, the chapter is very well written. Some paragraphs are overly long (e.g., the last paragraph). Each paragraph should communicate one key idea in three to five sentences. Learning features Interwiki links are well used in the Overview, but not subsequently.
