Talk:Motivation and emotion/Book/2018/Gym and positive emotion
Interaction idea
editHey a suggestion to improve the interactive aspect of your book chapter, could be to include a quiz ? Even start a discussion and getting readers to think about what physical activity at the gym improves their emotions ? I thought this video could be engaging to add in, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bzl3ldqg3NE U3177123 (discuss • contribs) 21:45, 18 October 2020 (UTC)
Heading casing
editFYI, the convention on Wikiversity is for lower-cased headings. For example, use:
==Cats and dogs== |
Image captions
editHi Kristie, your chapter looks like its coming alone really well! I look forward to seeing the finished product. I just went in and fixed up your image captions, you forgot to italicise figure 1 and had labelled your second image as figure 1. Good luck with the rest of the assignment! --Brittany (u3117719) (discuss • contribs) 03:53, 21 October 2018 (UTC)

Hi, this looks like a super interesting topic and your quiz is great. It would be cool to see more information from the biological perspective of what happens when one attends the gym. Here is an article outlining some of this "Jade Teta, N. D., & Keoni Teta, N. D. Exercise is Medicine."
It would also be great to see more examples of how going to the gym can improve known issues. I have found a link exploring gym activity and mental health
"Callaghan, P. (2004). Exercise: a neglected intervention in mental health care?. Journal of psychiatric and mental health nursing, 11(4), 476-483."

Hello! I have two suggestions for this book chapter. The first suggestion is to create a heading such as 'Theories' or something along those lines, as your theories fall under your 'overview' category, which should be used simply to introduce your topics. My second suggestion is to stick to one form of writing "wellbeing" as you have written it both as "well-being" and as "wellbeing". Best wishes for your book chapter. --BB7897 (discuss • contribs) 22:40, 16 October 2018 (UTC)
