editHi there, this is an interesting chapter well done! I have found a few points where you can improve:
- Firstly, I added capital letters to the starts of your bullet points for you
- Your figure captions could be improved by relating it to the topic instead of just stating what is in the image
- You only need to hyperlink important words the first time they are used, repeat hyperlinks for motivation, emotion, operant conditioning and self-efficacy etc only need to be hyperlinked once
- In your focus questions box you don't need to include 'define motivation'
- Some more images in the second half of the chapter would really enhance the look of the page!
- Finally, you don't need the number in the brackets in your reference list such as 24(1) the 1 can be removed
I hope some of these tips help you! Great work so far --U3160212 (discuss • contribs) 00:06, 12 October 2018 (UTC)
Chapter feedback
editI really enjoyed reading your chapter. The theoretical components were very well done and easy to read. I also thought the layout, specifically the case study and quiz were well thought through. I have made some grammatical edits to the full paragraphs of your chapter, you'll be able to find the specific changes in the edit history of this page. I agree with the other feedback provided around needing a couple more references in the first few paragraphs of the overview and maybe thinking about restructuring the first couple of paragraphs. Smaller sentences that cover a single idea will make the overview much easier to read. Overall though, nicely done page! --U3114099 (discuss • contribs) 19:45, 15 October 2018 (UTC)

Comments
editHi, great book chapter. Following on from GabiK's feedback regarding the need for a reference to make sentence statements factual, I came across a very similar dissertation regarding compliments and positive psychology. I thought this reading may give you some helpful background reading, but also they have some great sources that you could look at yourself and reference them in your work. The link for the dissertation is https://search.proquest.com/openview/fb2c13d6f1540e72ca711a0b416b9dad/1?pq-origsite=gscholar&cbl=18750&diss=y Good work. Hi, I enjoyed reading your book chapter. I also, edited and reworded the first two paragraphs of your overview. I also added suggestions for where you may need reference to make the sentence factual. I hope you like the changes. If not please feel free to go back to the before the edit on this link: https://en.wikiversity.org/w/index.php?title=Motivation_and_emotion%2FBook%2F2018%2FCompliments%2C_emotion%2C_and_motivation&type=revision&diff=1933140&oldid=1933030 --GabiK (discuss • contribs) 07:47, 13 October 2018 (UTC)
Great progress with your topic. I corrected some minor grammar and spelling errors. I really liked the images you have included and thought they were very relevant and useful. I also liked the quiz you included. Great work!--Bridie Mcinerney (discuss • contribs) 00:48, 13 October 2018 (UTC)
Good topic choice! I think this will be a great topic choice as it can relate to every single one of us. Amount of information provide is good, however it doesnt look so much like a standard wiki page with everything surrounded in red boxes, maybe try remove these. Good luck!--U3158773 (discuss • contribs) 01:56, 31 August 2018 (UTC)
Very interesting topic choice. I made some changes to the reference list by italicizing the journal title and adding doi's, to ensure compliance to APA conventions. Here is a guide to APA referencing you may find helpful.--Bridie Mcinerney (discuss • contribs) 07:12, 1 October 2018 (UTC)
I loved your page - super visually simple but also really informative! User:Rubykentwell 11:48, 14 October 2018 (UTC)
This page looks awesome! In your model figures (4 and 5), make sure you reference the author and year in it, as it is APA guidelines --U3158984 (discuss • contribs) 09:18, 15 October 2018 (UTC)
