As an international student, I find this book chapter interesting and relatable. I should say that the aspect of culture shock thst is most challenging is the process of adapting to the new culture. However, I would also emphasise the importance of the availability of the support system. Hey there. Interesting topic. I like the detail included regarding the stages of Culture shock, i found them quite informative. One thing i think would help would be to go into further detail about the theories which cover culture shock. You listed them with dot points but perhaps highlighting how they are applied to culture shock would be beneficial. Also perhaps add a bit more detail to the known outcomes of culture shock, maybe give examples of what the outcomes would look like. Overall it was an interesting read! Good luck!   2. Perhaps consider adding more examples or a case study.

  2. When describing important research findings, indicate the size of effects in addition to whether or not there was an effect or relationship.
  3. Greater emphasis on major reviews and meta-analyses would be helpful.

    1. The chapter benefited from a well developed Overview and Conclusion, with clear focus question(s) and take-home messages.

    1. Sections which include sub-sections should also include an introductory paragraph (which doesn't need a separate heading) before branching into the sub-headings.
    2. The chapter was well structured, with major sections using sub-sections.

    1. Adding interwiki links would make the text more interactive.

  1. Overall, this is a very good presentation which provides an excellent summary of the key points from the chapter about the topic.
  1. Add and narrate a Title slide, to help the viewer understanding the focus and goal of the presentation.
  2. Add and narrate an Overview slide, to help orientate the viewer about what will be covered.
  3. Well selected and structured content - not too much or too little.
  4. The presentation could be strengthened by adding a Conclusion slide with practical, take-home messages.
  1. The presentation is easy to follow, and interesting to watch and listen to.
  1. Use the full chapter title and sub-title on the opening slide and in the name of the video because this helps to match the book chapter and to clearly convey the purpose of the presentation.
  2. Audio recording included background sounds - review microphone set up.
  3. Include references.
  4. Limited use of the description field.
