Talk:Motivation and emotion/Book/2016/Time perspective and happiness
Comments
editHi, Great idea for a chapter, I look forward to seeing how it comes together. The concept of delayed gratification, specifically as it relates to experiments like the Stanford Marshmallow experiment, I find extremely interesting. I have placed a couple of links to JA that I think would be of benefit. https://www.apa.org/helpcenter/willpower-gratification.pdf https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3135702/ Good Luck with it :)--U3090066 (discuss • contribs) 16:43, 9 October 2016 (UTC)
Heading casing
editFYI, the convention on Wikiversity is for lower-cased headings. For example, use:
==Cats and dogs== |
Remove bold from headings
editJust use the default heading styles. -- Jtneill - Talk - c 00:20, 22 October 2016 (UTC)
Wiki links
editUser:U3120378, this chapter could be improved by linking the first mention of key words to corresponding Wikipedia articles e.g., anxiety. -- Jtneill - Talk - c 21:44, 23 October 2016 (UTC)
fixed typos
editHi, just catching up on feedback and know this is a little late but hopefully will help before marking?? Have only fixed a couple of very minor typos (eg: changed 'wre' to 'were'). Really like the placement and selection of pictures. Overall this chapter gave a good overview, but perhaps could have drawn on a few more references to flesh it out a bit? Was easy to read and follow and generally looks great though! Congratulations!! --U944295 (discuss • contribs) 13:59, 3 November 2016 (UTC)

-- Jtneill - Talk - c 03:08, 23 November 2016 (UTC) Hi my old book chapter, I think this book chapter, the author has put lot of efforts on the five features of time perspective but seems like some parts of the chapter are not properly edited. And the relationship between time perspective and happiness didn’t display in a clear way too. And I think it would be a good idea to narrow down the question based on the five time perspective and balanced time perspective. In this way, to answer what is the relationship between happiness. --Rachel Zeng (discuss • contribs) 08:05, 22 October 2017 (UTC)
