Talk:Motivation and emotion/Book/2016/Long-term goal achievement

editHey everyone i'm really keen on getting some multi-media links for my chapter just seeing if anyone else had come across any cool videos?
also what are peoples thoughts of me applying theories with story examples? perhaps i could follow three journeys throughout? 26/9/16
Hi, I embedded the links into the titles for the Youtube videos you had, so you can see a description instead of the URL. I've also added the coding for the hanging indent for your reference list :) --U3083764 (discuss • contribs) 10:26, 16 October 2016 (UTC)

Hey, Here are some images I thought might be relevant to your chapter. Someone climbing a mountain (represents goal setting) - https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Climbing_to_%22Magaro%22,_Mountain_Galichica,_Ohrid,_Macedonia.jpg A calendar: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Calendar-Logo-256x256.png Starting line of a race: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Athletes_launch_off_at_the_starting_line_at_the_2014_Warrior_Trials_140617-A-AE845-006.jpg Hope these help U3081523 (discuss • contribs) 00:09, 19 October 2016 (UTC)
feedback
editHi, great topic! I think you have done a great job at researching the underlying theories of goal setting. I have corrected a few spelling mistakes and I would probably check some of the in-text citations as not all of them were APA formatted. I liked the image comparing extrinsic to intrinsic motivation. --JazNF (discuss • contribs) 06:16, 19 October 2016 (UTC)
Hi Olivia! Chapter is looking great. One thing I can suggest is that with your headings, not every word needs to be capitalised, James actually posted feedback on my discussion tab and said it should read as this "Brief history" not "Brief History" so only the first word needs to be capitalised :) you can go have a look at my discussion tab if you like to see what he said! APA style figure and table captions
editI recommend using APA style figure and table captions. -- Jtneill - Talk - c 07:06, 21 October 2016 (UTC)
Grit vs gritt?
editI'm wondering why there are two different spellings used? Also, consider linking to Motivation and emotion/Book/2016/Grit -- Jtneill - Talk - c 22:21, 21 October 2016 (UTC)
