Overall Overall, this is a strong chapter. The chapter is well-balanced, without overemphasing/overgeneralising from the research evidence. The chapter is over the maximum word-count. For more feedback see these copyedits and the comments below. I removed about 400 words mostly by simplifying the written expression, but another 300 or so words need go. Theory Theory is well covered and explained. Use of case study was helpful. Research An excellent range of research studies are discussed and integrated with theory. Some statements were unreferenced (e.g., see the tags) Written expression The chapter is well-written. The Overview and Conclusion are clear and well-written. Layout The chapter is well-structured. Tables and/or Figures are used effectively. Learning features The chapter makes good use of interwiki links. Quiz questions are used effectively to encourage reader engagement. Spelling, grammar, and proofreading are very good. APA style The reference list is not in full APA style.

Structure and content Overview Excellent Selection and organisation Probably too much content is presented - felt a bit rushed - be more selective - e.g., work backwards from 3 take-home messages to work out what content needs to be presented - and then focus on only that which is essential to conveying these messages. Theory rich Good, effective consideration Nuanced, balanced consideration Addresses a self-help theme. Citations and references are included. Conclusion Good audio conclusion. A Conclusion slide summarising the take-home messages / key points could be helpful. Communication Audio Audio is too fast - consider slowing down. See this article for more information about speaking rates. Leave longer pauses between sentences. Otherwise, is clear and well-paced. Perhaps enhance intonation to help engage listeners. Visuals Basic - approximately half a dozen text-based slides with some images. Consider using more slides with less text and larger font on each slide. Production quality Overall, well produced. Meta-data Rename the title so that it includes the subtitle (and matches the book chapter). Add a link to the book chapter. Fill out the description field (e.g., brief description of presentation, link back to the book chapter, license details, and possibly include references, image attributions, and/or transcript). Audio recording quality Medium low due to white noise. Consider using an external microphone to improve audio recording quality. Image/video recording quality Effective use of simple tools. Licensing A copyright license for the presentation is not indicated (i.e., in the meta-data or the visual presentation).
