Talk:Motivation and emotion/Book/2015/Dyslexia and anxiety in children
Comments
editHey you may want to look at anxiety about not knowing something or having to answer in front of class. Or having difficulties reading. All the best Iga.leszczynska (discuss • contribs) 02:14, 9 October 2015 (UTC)
theories
editHi. what an interesting topic you have! i would suggest you look at the evolution theory, the cerebellar theory and the magnocellular theory. I believe these are all biological theories which would benefit your book chapter and help explain how and why dyslexia occurs :) good luck! --U3034876 (discuss • contribs) 00:34, 20 October 2015 (UTC)
Lee! What a cool chapter :) I like the case study you provided, it gives the reader an insight into what dyslexia is like for a child. Nice use of coloured boxes and images! (Just add 'Figure 1, figure 2..' to each one!). I like how you've explained the symptoms and different types of dyslexia, as I had no idea there were that many different types! Other theories you could look at include the Phonological Deficit Theory and the Perceptual Visual-Noise Exclusion Hypothesis. Adding a table or diagram about one of the theories could help break down all the info into an easy to read section :) Good luck! --Bt1718 (discuss • contribs) 12:38, 20 October 2015 (UTC)
Hey :) such an interesting topic. Your chapter looks great so far. So the conventions headings are sentence style - Dsylexia and anxiety in children; so i went through and just fixed these up for you, i know how time consuming and fiddly these things are. :) hope that helps you out (3083783ro (discuss • contribs) 02:15, 23 October 2015 (UTC)=3083783)
Great work, Lee. It reads well. I went through and cleaned it up a bit. You had a some spelling mistakes which I thought was ironic because you did the topic on dyslexia. Also I fixed up a couple of run-on sentences and general grammar. Just give it a once over to make sure it's all good =) Komali 21 (discuss • contribs) 04:31, 25 October 2015 (UTC)
Heading casing
editFYI, the convention on Wikiversity is for lower-cased headings. For example, use:
==Cats and dogs== |
