Talk:Motivation and emotion/Book/2015/Affect intensity

editHi! Good start to your chapter. Interesting topic as well! I know there's still a lot to go, but I'm sure it'll look great once some colour and images have been added. I think the layout in terms of what you're speaking about is good, just maybe include a few subheadings as you go along instead of main headings to discuss smaller sections. With what you already have, I think you could highlight the 3 factors associated with a person's emotional response. This could be done by placing them inside a coloured box or by centering them in the text or bolding certain parts. I feel it would just emphasise the main points that are important to understanding the rest of the chapter. Not sure if you have this article already but it talks about affect intensity and firstly explains emotional intelligence which is a really interesting topic that could tie into it! Just remember your APA formatting when writing and you should be good! Look forward to seeing the finished product! --Bt1718 (discuss • contribs) 9:19, 24 October 2015 (UTC)
Hey, so far your chapter is looking good so far, to make it more interesting to the eye you could think about adding some colour or images. Also once you have all of your text down, it could be good to add in a quiz at the end to test your readers knowledge on your topic. You could also add sub headings into your chapter too, to separate up the table of contents so the reader can get to certain parts of your chapter a bit easier. Good luck on finishing up !!
hi
editI like your topic. I found a couple of things you could fix up. On table of contents it says the subtitle is “What is affect intensity and how does it affect our emotional lives?” but on your page it is “The impact of emotional intensity on everyday life” I think we have to have it the same on both pages so change the one don’t want. You have some good boxes but maybe put in a picture or diagram as well to add more interest. I like the section on comparing aim and air I think that is a good idea to show the pros and cons. My last point is on using more internal links such as linking the words affect-intensity and emotional stability etc. Good luck. --U3081508 (discuss • contribs) 21:45, 24 October 2015 (UTC)
Hey! Your chapter looks great so far! I like the use of colour throughout the book chapter which makes it easier to follow and read. I have also noticed that you have only used APA in-text referencing for the overview section, but not for anything else. Also, your images should also be in APA formatting, which just involves placing Figure # with the number of the image in place of the #. Good luck with the rest of it! :) --U3096825 (discuss • contribs) 10:55, 25 October 2015 (UTC)
Hey, your chapter looks great, i like how you have separated the sections with coloured boxes, it gives you chapter colour and makes your chapter was to follow. Your setup is great, looks like you are all done, congratulations !!
