Overall, this is a promising chapter which was undermined significantly by not being negotiated before being added. For more feedback see these copyedits and the comments below.
This topic was added without approval and is somewhat duplicative of related chapters on infidelity. The title and subtitle were adjusted to fit more closely with the book topic criteria (role of emotion in sexual cheating). Unfortunately, skipping the initial step of negotiating a topic has meant that the content and focus of the chapter (sexual cheating) isn't particularly well aligned with the scope of goals of the book (needs greater focus on the role of emotion).
The quality of written expression could be improved (e.g., where clarification templates have been added to the page).
Obtaining (earlier) comments on a chapter plan and/or chapter draft could have helped to improve the chapter.
Avoid directional referencing (e.g., above, below, as previously mentioned)
Avoid starting so many sentences with a source's author or date, unless this is particularly pertinent. Provide the citation at the end of the sentence instead.
Avoid colloquialisms
Layout
No Tables and/or Figures were used.
Learning features
The chapter does not include any additional learning features.
Grammar and proofreading
The grammar of some sentences could be improved (e.g., see the [grammar?] tags)
APA style
The reference list is not in full APA style.
Remove issue numbers for seriated journal references.
