Overall

edit
  1. Overall, this is a basic, sufficient presentation.
  1. No theory is mentioned.
  2. No citations are provided.
  3. No research studies are mentioned.
  1. The audio pace is quite fast; slowing down could make the presentation more effective.
  2. Intonation variation is good.
  3. Slides are basic but clear. Text is used with no images.
  1. Production quality is basic, but sufficient.
    1. Audio recording quality is 'tinny' and not very clear; there is a loud noise between each slide. These issues could be resolved by using a headset microphone.
    2. The audio cuts out before the end.

Heading casing

edit

FYI, the convention on Wikiversity is for lower-cased headings. For example, use:

==Cats and dogs==

rather than

==Cats and Dogs==

Overall

edit
  1. Overall, this chapter is not yet of acceptable standard or quality.
  2. For more feedback, see these copyedits and comments below.
  1. The emotion theories described are not demonstrably related to sexual harassment.
  1. Some useful research is mentioned; these studies should be described in more detail and linked to emotion.
  2. When describing important research findings, indicate the size of effects in addition to whether or not there was an effect or relationship.
  3. Some statements were unreferenced (e.g., see the [factual?] tags)
  4. Did you consult this citation: William, J. (1884). If not, don't cite it.
  1. Written expression is problematic; often full sentences aren't used and much of the content is presented as bullet-points.
    1. No Overview section is provided.
    2. Some of the bullet-points should be rewritten into full paragraph format.
    3. Avoid one sentence paragraphs. A paragraph should typically consist of three to five sentences.
    4. The quality of written expression could be improved (e.g., where clarification templates have been added to the page).
  2. Layout
    1. Several self-created images based on emotion theories are used; these do not appear to be directly related to sexual harassment.
    2. See earlier comments about heading casing
  3. Learning features
    1. The text could become more interactive by including interwiki links.
  4. Spelling
    1. Use Australian spelling (e.g., hypothesize -> hypothesise)
    2. Spelling could be improved - see the [spelling?] tags
  5. Grammar and proofreading
    1. The grammar of some sentences needs improvement (e.g., see the [grammar?] tags)
  6. APA style
    1. The reference list is not in full APA style.

Subsequent revisions have:

  1. Added an Overview
  2. Corrected some, but not all, of the clarification templates
  3. Converted some bullet-points content into paragraphs

Further revisions consisted of:

  1. Some general theory about fear is added from the Reeve (2009) textbook - this is not demonstrably related to fear of, or as a result of, sexual harrassment
  2. A paragraph about Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs is added, with a link drawn between this model and sexual harrassment at the security level of need. These claims do not appear to be supported by any citations and it seems unlikely that the author consulted Maslow (1943).
  3. A useful case study has been added
  4. More research review has been added.
  5. A useful section on coping strategies has been added.
  6. License information needs to be added to: File:Screen Shot 2014-12-17 at 9.21.42 pm.png, otherwise it will be deleted
