Hi, I have also been looking at dopamine's effect on emotion for my book chapter. I am not sure how helpful these may be for you, but I found this article that mention positive reinforcement (in this context, how dopamine motivates chocolate consumption). http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S016503270600084X You will need to log into uc library or whatever for full access. Hope you might find this helpful.. My chapter on chocolate and mood might have a few more references in my text about dopamine that may mention something about dopamine's role in motivation, but not off of the top of my head. All the best for your chapter U3083503 (discuss • contribs) 09:16, 22 October 2014 (UTC)
Feedback
editHi, Just had a read through your chapter, well done on describing dopamine at the start.. it can be tricky getting your head around the structure. Just 2 notes, at the start you have linked dopamine twice, but one would be enough and give the start a bit more flow. Also, have you considered giving a really simple case study to show how dopamine helps with wellbeing or something like that and directly link the self help aspect of the chapter question. just a though :) --Dsalvestro (discuss • contribs) 07:36, 26 October 2014 (UTC)
