Emotion Section
editHey, great read! I just read through and edited one of the parts in the emotion section, starting with the quote on emotion so that it all flows a bit better and isn't a few short sentences.
References
editHey, interesting topic. Was a great read! I just put your journal articles into italics so they are in accordance with APA formatting. Good luck with it all! --U3083978 (discuss • contribs) 20:39, 26 October 2014 (UTC)
Test yourself
editHi, your chapter is coming along very nicely, I did notice at the bottom you had a title 'test yourself' im assuming you were going to put a quiz in there so in case you are stuck ive put one in. Its basic and only two questions but you can add more. + indicates the correct answer and - indicates a wrong answer. Hope this helps and good luck AGH BMW (discuss • contribs) 04:32, 23 October 2014 (UTC)
Heading casing
editFYI, the convention on Wikiversity is for lower-cased headings. For example, use:
==Cats and dogs== |
a little bit of statistics
editHi, I like your chapter. It is structured around adoption and emotion quite well. Here are some comments and suggestions.
1. adoption theory: Was Freud's family romance an adoption theory? what predictions can it generate? It is related to adoption, but does not feel like an adoption theory.
2. Maybe you could in the overview, gives us some statistics about adopted children, a little of history will be good too. Also, briefly talk about common reasons for adopting other people's kids or giving away own kids for adoption?
3. A few decades ago, a lot of korean kids were adopted by Americans after some war. Similarly Australia had a big wave of kids coming from Britain 50 years ago or something. One of them can make a really powerful case study. Also, you can see from social, historical contexts, adoption can involve a lot of things. --Xlc (discuss • contribs) 01:37, 23 October 2014 (UTC)
APA style captions for images and tables
editI recommend using APA style captions i.e., Figure 1, Figure 2 etc. for all images, graphs etc. and Table 1, Table 2 etc. for all tables. The caption text should not be in italics.
