Editing your page - copied over from email so you don't have to go looking for it

So what kind of format do you want to have with it?

James has said that he's not awarding extra points for elaborate formats and that simple is best so I'd recommend somewhere between mine and emotional contagion. Plus then you can work on it yourself a little once I give you the basics. I have to go to the airport at 4:30 so we'll see what we can get done by then and i"ll be around this evening if you still need me.

Adding photos

when you say adding your own I'm assuming that you took them rather than found them on the Net, Wikipedia is strict on copyright so if they aren't yours better to get them off Commons.

Start by formatting your photo exactly as you want it, orientation, cropping, touchups whatever. Save as a file with a descriptive title (it will upload with this title and can't be changed easily) and then go to the menu to the left of this page. Under Wikimedia projects there is a link to Commons.

Click on it and under Participate there is an option to upload file. It brings up a wizard that's really simple. Read the first page if you want to as it helps explain the whole copyright and licensing thing. The deal is that if you upload you will essentially be giving up rights to restrict your photos and anyone can use them.

Then you select the file from wherever you saved it, it will then ask you say if its your file or someone else's, the licensing will be applied, you get to put a description and to categorise your photo (never worked that one out but you can go back and do it so don't worry at the moment) and then its uploaded. They will give you a link to easily insert it so just copy and go to paste in your page.

Once you've done that then you choose the section you want it in, open that edit box and paste it where you want it - above the text, below, in the middle. The text automatically wraps around and (I think from memory) it defaults to the right. You can change that by inserting |left| into the string of text (near where it has |thumb| works, it doesn't seem to have to be in a particular order) and you can change the size by inserting |200px| in the same way. Fiddle with the number 100, 150 whatever to make it smaller, 300, 350 to make it bigger.

yep - if you did it on their chapter then I linked to the "view history" tab rather than the chapter because then it shows your login name. if you commented on their discussion page then I linked to that.

Overall Overall, this chapter needs a rewrite to be sufficient. An important improvement to this chapter would to clarify the title and subtitle and make sure that it matches the content. Furthermore, there should be only one focus question rather than three separate questions and the chapter should be streamlined to tackle that one question in reasonable depth. In addition, the chapter needs to demonstrate how it uniquely builds upon and extends other related book chapters (see the links added in the see also section). Theory What is unique/special about the effect of dogs on humans? (i.e., why focus on this one type of animal) The anxiety section is very broad - just summarise and link to, say, the Wikipedia article for more info The theories section seems to be tacked on at the end - it could be more integrated with the rest of the chapter Research There was fairly heavy reliance on Lubbe and Scholtz (2013) (a case study) as a citation. #A wide range of other research studies was cited, with several particularly interesting studies and implications. More indication of method, size of effect etc. for the key cited research studies would be helpful. Written expression The overview needs to be rewritten to be less like a reflective journal (first person) and more like a polished book chapter addressing a self-help audience, establishing the problem and how it can be addressed according to psychological theory and research. Check APA style for citations (e.g., & should only be used inside brackets - other use "and") There are numerous spelling and grammar mistakes - a few have been marked as examples. Avoid one sentence paragraphs. A paragraph should typically consist of three to five sentences. Limited use of Interwiki links?

Overall Overall, this is a basic, slide/text-based narrated screencast with embedded video. Structure and content There seemed to be a mismatch between the chapter topic "Animals and anxiety: How does interaction with animals affect human anxiety levels?" and the multimedia topic (focused on dogs?) At times the presentation seemed to be focused on anxiety management (more generally) rather than on how interaction with animals can influence anxiety. Little was mentioned in the way of anxiety theory or emotional effects of animal contact theory. Little mention of research. Some appropriate tips about dog ownership are suggested at the end. Communication The slides were interesting and engaging, with embedding video and animated text. However, there was too much text, presented too quickly. The voice narration was OK, but seemed a bit hesitant/unsure in places. Production quality Effect use of basic tools - powerpoint and screenr. Audio sounded a little 'echo-ey'? Slides were text-heavy. Consider selecting less text and using larger font. Embedded video was creative/novel/interesting - well done - although video on 2:30 didn't work? Licensing of presentation was provided on last slide.
