Overall edit

  1. Congratulations, this is a fabulous textbook chapter. In fact, this is possibly a model chapter. It is particularly well structured, right from the clear focus questions through to the crisp summary, with an interesting account of relevant theory and research studies along the way. The chapter is supported by captioned images (except the last one?) and wiki-links (I've added some more). Some relatively minor aspects could be improved - see below.

Theory edit

Research edit

  1. When describing important research findings, try to indicate the size of effects rather than simply whether or not there was an effect or relationship.

Written expression edit

  1. Spelling, grammar and proofreading
    1. Use double quotation marks for direct quotes.
  2. Wiki formatting wasn't applied to reference list.

Overview edit

  1. I loved the informality at the start - it was a break from the more common, scripted monotones. This made the presentation seem more genuine.
  2. Having said this - more of the presentation could be more effective in 3rd person than 1st person
  3. A few too many "umms" - I have the same problem. Try just letting there be a pause instead.
  4. Font type - Arial is a better presentation font
  5. Font size - make it larger
  6. Overall, a good range of content. It was a summary and perhaps it could have been stronger to select maybe highlights or key take home messages.
  7. Maybe some more examples?
  8. I liked that you took use to visit the chapter at the end - it helped to make the connection.
  9. Image credits and copyright license?
