I find it useful. Some of its advices are sound. Wikibooks may be more suitable for such a project, but wikiversity hosts learning projects and resources. Can it be developed into a learning project? Hillgentleman|Talk 07:17, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
- I also think it's a good project, but it looks like it's been pasted from somewhere else. Possible copyvio? The Jade Knight 05:32, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
- I agree and had similar thoughts and did a search a while back, but couldn't turn anything up. -- Jtneill - Talk - c 10:22, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
References
editReferences were a mess. The user placed reference names at the end in the reference section, which didn't work (for whatever reason, I'm not sure). I placed the references inline, which works. However, there are multiple uses of named references with different page numbers. I have not handled that yet. The Wikipedia Help pages on named references were clear as mud.
I find it diagnostic of Wikiversity dysfunction that in over six years, including a Request for deletion with high participation, this page wasn't fixed, and it's still not fixed completely. Too many of us prefer to make toilet jokes, or to make unsubstantiated charges of plagiarism. That's a serious charge and should never be made without evidence.
This user suffered much difficulty on Wikipedia. We should be very careful with our users, some of them may have been once-burned. Do we want to make them twice-shy? --Abd (discuss • contribs) 18:19, 31 August 2014 (UTC)
