Wikiversity:Candidates for Custodianship/CQ
Statement: I've never aspired to be an admin before. I don't need the "privilage", dont want the "responsibility" nor do I desire the "stigma". But I have a job to do and I must have the "access" to do it. Both Cormaggio and JWSchmidt have been my "mentors" for a while now. We can just keep it that way, if it's OK. ( can one have three mentors? If so, I would like Sebmol, as well. *wink* - *hint* )
- Thanks in advance for your consideration. CQ 23:51, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
There was some additional discussion of CQ's self-nomination that was removed from this page.
Mentoring
edit- Oh yeah. If I can pick only one mentor, JWSchmidt is the one. CQ 13:32, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
- In discussions on IRC, CQ said that he will help deal with vandals. I'd be happy to be custodian mentor for CQ. --JWSchmidt 16:35, 21 April 2007 (UTC)

- I nominate CQ for full custodianship. CQ has been a probationary custodian since April 24, 2007. During the past month, CQ has shown that he can use the custodian's page deletion and vandal blocking tools. CQ's efforts in support of Wikiversity are facilitated by participation at Wikiversity:Colloquium and the Wikiversity chat channel. CQ has also shown a willingness to do additional "grunt work" for the community by helping with tasks such as categorize pages and moving (re-naming) pages that have bad page names. After having served the community during the probationary period, CQ should be confirmed by the Wikiversity community as a full custodian. --JWSchmidt 18:33, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

editThere were no objections from the community against full custodianship for User:CQ after a one month probationary period ending 24 May. The 5 day period for comments on this nomination ended on 29 May 2007. CQ became a full custodian on 30 May 2007. --JWSchmidt 14:58, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
