Wikimedia Education Greenhouse
Welcome to the Wikimedia Education Project Management course on Wikiversity!
This online course is part of the Wikimedia Education Greenhouse, a pilot program led by the Education team at the Wikimedia Foundation that seeks to support Wikimedia education program leaders to structure their activities on the idea of knowledge equity, considering the challenges and opportunities of their Wikimedia community and their local education context.
The course was collaboratively created with members of the Wikimedia education community and staff from the Wikimedia Foundation to equip participants with the skills, knowledge and support to bring their ideas to life and scale them into high-impact initiatives in their community.
Originally, the course was launched on July 2019 through Moodle (an open source learning management system) for over 100 participants and reached its completion on May 10, 2020. The purpose of this space on Wikiversity is to make the contents of the course available for the wider Wikimedia community interested in implementing education projects. The content of this course is being curated based on the feedback provided by participants of the original cohort. If you have any questions or suggestions for this space, please contact MGuadalupe (WMF) or leave us a note on the Discuss section.
