Hi, here's a reference you might find useful that looks at theoretical and evidence based notions of self confidence: http://www.econstor.eu/bitstream/10419/55580/1/680150110.pdf Thegrounav (discusscontribs) 14:15, 8 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hey! Ive found a counselling site that talks about what Self-confidence is, how it is initially developed, influences on self-confidence and more. I think this would be a good starting point. Here is the link, hope it helps. http://www.counselingcenter.illinois.edu/self-help-brochures/self-awarenessself-care/self-confidence/ Verity Foster-Greenwood (discusscontribs) 01:32, 16 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi Jacinta, As per our conversation looks like we are in the same boat as far as starting our assignment goes. Hopefully we can get a few contribution marks by helping each other out. U3067894 (discusscontribs) 11:26, 29 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Overall edit

This is an interesting chapter with great practical application - well done!

Theory edit

Some theoretical constructs are embedded, however this is an area for improvement. A section dedicated to relevant theory would benefit the chapter.

Research edit

Presentation of relevant and interesting research is a highlight of this chapter. The research is explored in sufficient detail for the target audience. Well done for covering practical application so thoroughly - this is fantastic! To improve further, try to include some evidence of critical thinking.

Written expression edit

This chapter is nicely presented and follows a very clear structure. APA is generally well done, and the quiz is a great addition. ShaunaB (discusscontribs)

Overall edit

A very good presentation - nice job!

Structure and content edit

Theory and research are really nicely integrated into this chapter. The flow is clear and logical. Key concepts have been well identified, which helps to make the presentation nicely balanced.

Communication edit

Verbal communication is clear and engaging. The use of pictures makes the presentation more engaging, however I would suggest that dot points on some more slides would be beneficial. Well done for the practical focus and real life examples!

Production quality edit

Sound and picture quality are both good, and basic tools have been used well. Rehearsing a few more times before recording may have improved the delivery further. ShaunaB (discusscontribs
