I wish this were my topic :( There's an entire field of music therapy out there which is my intended future vocational area. I would love to see what you come up with. Here's a link that might provide some info. http://www.austmta.org.au/

Music therapy is not only limited to treating depression but also unequivocally useful in treating children with emotional/impulse/control/trauma issues. Maybe check out Dr. Bruce Perry he's a neuroscientist who writes a lot about rewiring the brain in early childhood using musical melodic and rhythmic techniques to mirror the environment of the womb. Weird and amazing stuff. Hope this helps! Best of luck!

A really interesting chapter on a great topic. Well done!

This is a difficult area in terms of theory, so well done for identifying useful constructs for inclusion in this chapter. To improve further, practically apply and critically analyse the theories.

Research is incorporated well in this chapter. Try to incorporate research findings into the discussion around theory more fluently.

A nicely presented chapter, with a clear structure. Ensure you proof read one final time before submission, as there are some errors. Also, reference all ideas that are taken from the literature. ShaunaB (discusscontribs)

A nice summary of chapter content - nice job!

Theory and research are nicely presented. A sound understanding of the research is demonstrated. The flow was clear and logical throughout.

Ideas were communicated clearly through dialogue and image. The presenter seemed to lack confidence in some areas (evident through tone of voice), and some dialogue was quite casual. I liked the way you practically applied the information towards the end of the presentation.

Picture and sound quality are good. Basic production tools are used well. The presentation would be more professional if the presenter spoke more confidently. ShaunaB (discusscontribs)
