C edit

I'm a professional game programmer and I'm a little leery about this course presenting programming exercises in C. C++ is the predominant language for game programming, has been for decades and it doesn't look like it will change anytime soon. While other languages are entering the fray, C hasn't been used by professionals for game programming since the early '90s. Any chance of updating this and removing references to C? This would have the added benefit of making a lot of the exercises easier; a lot of tasks that are a snap in C++ are a lot more work in C. Wikiversity is whatever we make of it. You're welcome to be bold and update this resource. You might include a historical reference, such as: At one time such applications were written in C, but current applications are primarily based on C++. -- Dave Braunschweig (discusscontribs) 21:34, 14 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
