It will be useful to move this great course under ‘CompTIA: Computer Networks’ or any other suggested naming and leave free generic Computer Networks top domain for content not related with an specific organization or CV. Tech201805 (discusscontribs) 18:59, 5 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Merger proposal edit

I propose merging Network+ into this article (currently Computer Networks, but perhaps it will move some other name as suggested above). As far as I can tell, both cover identical content -- the kind of information covered by "CompTIA Network+ Certification". DavidCary (discusscontribs) 19:42, 4 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

It's important to note that Computer Networks is (or at least was) used to support a real-world course. Merging the content in this direction would work, because it would maintain the 15-week course structure. Going the other direction wouldn't be manageable from a classroom perspective.
I don't have any objections as long as the merge is careful in the content alignment and readability is maintained. The easiest approach is probably adding subpages to each lesson for the informational aspects. See Wikipedia: Progressive disclosure for the desired design approach.
