to be honest, this looks a little like "advertising". What can we do here (better)? ----Erkan Yilmaz 06:32, 21 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Erkan, I removed some content so it doesn't look like advertising. I also work for this company, so I probably shouldn't write an article. Timboliu (discusscontribs) 20:51, 21 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
I'd like to see it moved to a subpage of a learning project. Ultimately, I think almost all of Timboliu's content is a single large learning project, but I have yet to be able to determine what that project is. Separately, I think the design approach of many small pages is distracting to the user, and a smaller quantity of pages with more detail would provide a better learning experience. -- Dave Braunschweig (discusscontribs) 12:37, 21 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Conflict of interest edit

This is Wikiversity. We have no policy against a user employed by a company writing about the company; however, WMF policy requires that conflict of interest be disclosed. So if you are employed by a company, place that information on your user page. As well, on a page involving the company, at least on the Talk page and maybe on the page about the company, disclose your employment. The point is to not mislead anyone or even present an appearance of misleading.

Do be careful about neutrality, and at a higher level in the page structure, use neutral language and avoid "peacock." (I.e, "MyCompany has the best product on the market!") --Abd (discusscontribs) 14:48, 22 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Thanks Abd for this tip. The info is on my user page. Timboliu (discusscontribs) 19:18, 9 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
