Questions and Notes
edit- Henry Gerard Sturt, 1st Baron Alington is not listed as having attended the Duchess of Devonshire's ball; he would have been 72 years old. Evelyn Sturt, Lady Alington was there — a photograph exists; if she was 80 when she died, then she would have been born in c. 1860, so possibly about 40ish at the time of the ball.
- Charles William Augustus Montagu was Hon. Mildred Cecilia Harriet Sturt's third husband; they did not marry until 1930 although they are in the same portrait in the Album (#209). She was Lady Chelsea in 1897.
