Finding a winner in an election using a point system based on the first place vote down to the last place vote.

The Borda Count method finds a winner by using a points system, which entails each candidate gaining the most points to win the election. The system works by giving each candidate that got a first place vote three points, each second place vote two points, third place votes one point, and last place vote with 0. Then you would multiply the point awarded to each candidate respectively to the number of votes that they got. For example, if a candidate got 17 first place votes then you would multiply 17 by 3 and then adding to that with the other points that the candidate receives. Once the process is finished, the candidate with the most points wins the election.
