How to be a Wikimedia sysop/Recent changes patrolling

Recent changes patrolling is when users monitor Special:RecentChanges on their project, looking for vandalism, test edits, misguided, nonconstructive, good-faith, or just plain good edits. Some projects, like Meta-Wiki and Wikidata, have users that can actually mark new edits as patrolled. Patrolling new edits helps to clear vandalism, while also helping misguided and/or good-faith editors.
