Portal talk:Media

If you want to experiment with a radical new version of Portal:Media you can work at Portal:Medianew.

If you update featured content on this portal, make sure that you update Portal:Media/Featured.

New page format

edit

Portal:Medianew can be used to design new versions of Portal:Media. My main goal was to include featured content and links to other Wikiversity content about Media. --JWSchmidt 01:28, 25 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

What size window?

edit

What screen size is this page designed for 1024 by 768? Or larger? Robert Elliott 11:15, 25 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

I checked appearance of the current page contents at display widths of 800, 1024, 1280 and 1440 pixels. According to this, as many as 20% of existing displays may only go as high as 800 pixels across, but 1024 is fairly common. --JWSchmidt 14:13, 25 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Formatting Information?

Is there any documentation for "subst:box portal skeleton"? I am sure I can figure it out in time but I am getting lazy in my old age. Robert Elliott 11:42, 25 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

I placed a useful link at Template talk:Box portal skeleton. The link is to the Wikipedia page that explains how to use this portal format. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. --JWSchmidt 13:54, 25 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
