Overview of the SLD Checklist What is the SLD Checklist? The Checklist for Strong Learning Design was developed by Cathy Moore, who is, according to her website, an "internationally recognized training designer dedicated to saving the world from boring instruction." As part of her work, Cathy created this checklist to help instructional designers review existing training materials, asking the question: "Have you designed action-packed materials or a sad information dump?" The Checklist can help you evaluate a variety of types of training materials, including short self-paced eLearning courses or materials designed for face-to-face training. Where Can I Find The SLD Checklist? The Checklist for Strong Learning Design can be found in Cathy Moore's blog.
