Importance of Divergent Thinking
Through the brief lesson, the ideas outlined at beginning are clearly described:
Providing your learners the opportunity to exercise divergent thinking, you will receive results that will be more unique. In addition, learners will feel more ownership for his or her own idea as it was hatched through much processing and divergent thinking. Take a chance on something new and here's how you justify it By using divergent thinking, you are sacrificing efficiency over effectiveness and appeal. Divergent thinking could take more time at the beginning, but as your learners become trained in becoming divergent thinkers, you will regain some, but not all of the effectiveness in instruction. |
