The intention of this set of courses is to give to you the set of knowledge which would make you "educated". The courses are not about in depth knowledge, but about important concepts about nature, society and arts which every educated person should know.
Natural science is the term used to apply to the non artificial sciences. Often used to describe only the environmental sciences, but for the purpose of this article it will be used to refer to all the natural sciences. This is a very broad and diverse topic, but this will cover the basics.
Simply put, society is any large group of people who live together, usually ruled by the same people or in the same situation to one another. Members of a society often have similar beliefs, morally, religiously or politically, and benefit one another while simultaneously depending on each other.
