Matthew Fredrick also known as Matthias is a CEO of the company of Youtube channels known as Hi5 Studios[1]. He started his own channel in August of 2011 as a channel for cover music and comedic sketches and challenges. He then created the channel Team Edge [2] with his brother, Joseph (J-Fred) Fredrick and brother-in law, Bryan Valle. The three then went on to form Hi5 Studios [3]. in August of 2016. The company has then grown to a company with lots of employees and 9 channels with nearly 4.5 million subscribers combined and takes in nearly 100,000 million views monthly [4]

Early Career edit
Matthias created his Youtube channel on August 10th, 2011. He started by doing covers for different songs and eventually went on to do comedic sketches and challenges with different friends of his that were also Youtubers.
In 2013 he won the second season of Internet Icon an internet game show with many content creators launching him on his path to make his own studio.
Hi5 Studios edit
He then became the co-creator and CEO of Hi5 studios in August of 2016. He started many other channels along with the employees he hired throughout his time as CEO.

Channel started on August 30th 2016 It was made to be a vlog channel following Matthew and his brother and brother in law as they created Hi5 studios. The channel eventually turned into Battle Universe on January 24th, 2017.

Channel started on January 24th, 2017. It is channel that the employees of Hi5 competed in different NERF battles. The channel ceased production on June 1, 2020.

Channel started on August 10th, 2011. It was Matthew's personal channel where he created cover songs, challenge videos, and comedic sketches. The channel eventually turned into the Matthias Unboxing channel on November 3rd, 2016.

Channel started on November 3rd, 2016. It was Matthew's channel where he unboxed products that he thought were interesting or amusing and reacted to them. The channel eventually turned into the Dope or Nope Channel on June 10th 2018

Channel started on June 10th, 2018. It is a channel where Matthew and different employees react to products and rate them a "dope" or a "nope". The channel is still going on to this day.
- Team Edge Gaming
Channel started on December 26th, 2018. It was a channel where members of Hi5 studios could compete in different head-to-head gaming challenges. The channel eventually turned into Fail Time on April 24th, 2018.

Channel started on April 24th, 2018. It is the channel where members of Hi5 studios including the ones that don't go on camera very often react to amusing things on the internet. This channel is still going on today. Channel last uploaded on March, 28, 2019.
- Googly Eyes
Channel started on April 8th, 2015. It was a channel where Matthew played games in Virtual reality and reacted to them along the way. This channel eventually made way for Get Good Gaming on September 25th, 2017.

Channel started on September 25th, 2017. It is a channel where four employees of Hi5 studios can play competitive and cooperative games together. This channel was discontinued on April 21, 2021.
- Hi5 Vlogs[9]
Channel started on March 15th, 2017. It is a vlog channel that follows the employees of Hi5 and records their hilarious moments. This channel later changed to Woods vlogs which is a Hi5 employee. This channel last uploaded on April, 2, 2019
- Matthias Vlogs[10]
Channel started on August 25th, 2017. It is a vlog channel for Matthew himself where it follows his life from his work life to his home life. This channel is still going on today.
- Rekt[11]
Channel started on May 21st, 2017. It is a channel where members of Hi5 destroy stuff and react to what happened. This channel has been discontinued.
- Team Edge[12]
Channel started on September 8th, 2015. It is a channel where Matthew and his brothers competed in challenges against each other. This channel is still going on.
