Career edit

Ever since May 1,2007 Beeple has been making a piece of digital art every single day. Nowadays he's been posting his art to Instagram but he's been creating his every day's since before Instagram was a thing. Most of his art is topical so if something important happens in the news he creates an art piece for that whether it be an election or bitcoin. Whenever looking at his art this is very apparent that he's making statements or having an idea and making it as crazy and bizarre as possible. If he's making a political statement he typically uses pop culture icons to add a satirical twist to it. HIs overall message is while yes a lot of bad things are going on in the world that dosent mean that you cant leaugh at it. He has also stirred up some controversy in his field since minting nft's takes up a lot of energy it causes a lot of pollution in order to just mint something virtual So people have expressed distaste to his work stating that he's part of global climate change even though he's just the artist

Legacy edit

Mike Winkelmann has sold his first 5 thousand every day's for a record 69.9 million at auction as an nft. When you purchase one of his nft's he sends you a package that includes a monitor inside a case that shows off the piece that you got, a cleaning cloth, a certificate of authenticity, and a hair sample. He is the leading artist who put their art up for auction as nft's or non fungible tokens.

Awards and Nominations edit

He was awarded GQ man of the year and has gotten himself millions of dollars selling his artwork at a Christie's auction. He also holds the world record for highest selling nft at auction

Software edit

Beeple uses Cinema4d to do his every day's which is a German made 3d software. He is considered a mast at his craft because he is able to make increadibly intricate renders in less that 24 hours. He dosent make them in advance. When it comes to his process once you have the basic shapes you refine it until it looks the way you want it which takes off some of the stress and certain things are going to look so far away so you dont have to focus on every detail of your piece
